About us
The Fightin’ Gator Touchdown Club is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to supporting University of Florida athletics through scholarships, fundraising, and community engagement.
FGTC brings together alumni, fans, families, and friends who share a passion for Gator football and a commitment to giving back. Through social events, game-day traditions, and charitable initiatives, we strengthen the Gator Nation while helping student-athletes succeed on and off the field.
We are proud of our legacy — and even more excited about what’s ahead.

A few things we’re great at
The Fightin’ Gator Touchdown Club was founded in 1976 by a group of dedicated Florida Gators supporters who believed in the power of community, tradition, and giving back to the University of Florida.
What began as a small group of passionate fans quickly grew into a respected organization known for its support of student-athletes, commitment to scholarships, and vibrant social events centered around Gator football.
Over the decades, FGTC has:
Raised over 2.2 million for student-athlete scholarships
Hosted countless game-day gatherings, banquets, and community events
Created a welcoming environment for families, alumni, and fans
Maintained traditions that connect generations of Gators

Fundraising Events
FGTC hosts signature fundraising events—including our annual Golf Tournament, Dart Tournament, and Cornhole Tournament—that bring members together while raising critical funds to support University of Florida student-athletes and scholarships.

Social and Volunteer
From Sippin’ Socials at local breweries to volunteering at community events, FGTC creates opportunities for members to connect, give back, and celebrate Gator pride beyond game day.

Tailgating and Bus Trips
FGTC brings the Gator spirit to life through tailgating at home games and organized bus trips for away games, offering unforgettable game-day experiences and camaraderie wherever the Gators play.
